Today’s Reflection:  Lord,
Give us understanding that we may learn our lessons well.
Give us compassion that we may show your face to those we meet.
Give us generosity that we may share the gifts you have given us.
Give us faith that we may have confidence in ourselves.
Above all give us love that we may bring joy into the lives of those around us. —Excerpted from Prayer of Dedication by Adrian Porter, SJ

 Today’s Reflection:  Your Ways

I’m in awe of your ways, oh Lord
In me, You love and value what I don’t.
You gladly use what I want to discard.
If I see a dead end, You show me a path out.

If I’m blind, You make me listen.
If I’m deaf, You show me the truth.
When I rest, You visit my thoughts.

You lift me up when I’m humble and
tame me when I’m proud.
You frustrate my plans,
when I’m controlling
and help me advance
when I give You my trust.

You show me that love is the way
Because I was wounded,
I could help others heal
Because I was broken,
I could help others to mend.

Every time I feared to trust You
I was faced with your unrelenting love
You left me without arguments and excuses
and what was left was nothing more
but awe of your ways, oh Lord. Amen — Sindy Collazo

Today’s Reflection:  Love is our true destiny. We do not find the meaning of life by ourselves alone, we find it with another. — Thomas Merton

Today’s Reflection: God of all goodness,

be merciful to us.

Focus our attention on correcting our own faults,

rather than criticizing those of others.

Lead us to live a life of love,

transformed by you and one another.

Amen.— Catholic prayer resource

Today’s Reflection: Lord,
I want to ask you “Please let me see,”
but for some reason the words stick a little in my throat.
I think a part of me fears what you want to show me.
Will it be more than my mind and heart are prepared to take in?
Will you throw me a curveball I didn’t expect?
Help me Lord, to trust the voice deep inside of me
that knows you only wish to show me the magnificent things
possible with love and trust and hope in You.
Amen.  —Gretchen Crowder

Today’s Reflection:  Love consists in sharing what one has and what one is with those one loves. Love ought to show itself in deeds more than words. —St. Ignatius of Loyola

Today’s Reflection:  Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy. That is not our business and, in fact, it is nobody’s business. What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy. —Thomas Merton

Today’s Reflection: Jesus, sometimes it is a struggle for me to hope,
and to believe that goodness and love
will triumph over the evils of this world,
with so much violence and suffering,
in every nation.

Walk with me this day,
show me your works alive in the world,
so you and I can see the true God,
who is our living Father
The one who brings us Easter goodness,
In such a Good Friday world. —Fr. Phil Cooke, SJ

Today’s Reflection: To be just, it is not enough to refrain from injustice. One  must go further and refuse to play its game, substituting love for self-interest as the driving force of society. — Pedro Arrupe SJ
