Today’s Reflection: Loving God,
I hold myself still and quiet, waiting for you, listening to you. May this time of silence bring me closer to you; may I hear your consoling voice; may I feel your loving embrace. And when I leave this prayer, may I share your words and your compassion with those I meet today. May I bring your peace to this world that you love so much. —Fr. Paul Kalenzi, SJ

Morning Offering: 07. 12. 23

Today’s Reflection: Dear God,
On this day I ask You to grant this request.
May I know who I am and what I am,
Every moment of every day.
May I be a catalyst for light and love,
And bring inspiration to those whose eyes I meet.
May I have the strength to stand tall in the face of conflict,
And the courage to speak my voice, even when I’m scared.
May I have the humility to follow my heart,
And the passion to live my soul’s desires.
May I seek to know the highest truth
And dismiss the gravitational pull of my lower self.
May I embrace and love the totality of myself?
My darkness as well as my light.
May I be brave enough to hear my heart?
To let it soften so that I may gracefully
Choose faith over fear.
Today is my day to surrender anything that stands
Between the sacredness of my humanity and my divinity.
May I be drenched in my Holiness
And engulfed by Your love.
May all else melt away.
And so it is. — Debbie Ford

Today’s Reflection: We need to find God,
and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness.
God is the friend of silence.
See how nature – trees, flowers, grass,
grows in silence;
see the stars, the moon and the sun,
how they move in silence.
We need silence to be able to touch souls. Amen. — Saint Teresa of Calcutta

Today’s Reflection: Talking with God means…
Praying words of praise
For the beauty of creation
Saying prayers of thanks
For friends and good times,
Asking God’s help
In all your decisions
Expressing sorrow
When you have failed
May you talk with God
Every day. Amen. — Daily TV Mass site

Today’s Reflection: And the world cannot be discovered by a journey of miles, no matter how long, but only by a spiritual journey, a journey of one inch, very arduous and humbling and joyful, by which we arrive at the ground at our feet, and learn to be at home. – Wendell Berry, The Unforeseen Wilderness

Today’s Reflection: Do you take time to pause and appreciate nature’s fragile beauty, like that of a butterfly? Do you take time to thank the Lord, for being able to see? ― Joe Barkovich
