Today’s Reflection: Prayer

I pray that our eyes may be open
To be one another’s keeper
To look out for the children of the world
Offer a kind word, a book, an encouragement
I pray that we may teach our kids to hope
To be kind, to love, to stand against injustice
And may we take time to accept what children offer us
The magic of hope and love
Amen. — Adapted from a poem written by Donna Akuamoah, United Methodist Women International Ministries

Today’s Reflection: Life humbles you. As you grow older, you stop chasing big things and start valuing little things: alone time, enough sleep, a good diet, long walks, and quality time with loved ones. Simplicity becomes the ultimate goal. — Author unknown

Today’s Reflection: Prayer

God of many promises,
You are good and faithful.
Even when we confront unexpected hardship,
Help us to remember your love.
Teach us to seek you, face to face,
And to listen, trust, believe, and love.
May we choose you
Today.
Amen. —Laura Gilmartin Hancock

Today’s Reflection: Dear Lord, Sometimes I really feel weary and need rest from the stresses of life. I turn to you in those times and as I let go you fill my heart with peace. Thank you for that. — based on Psalm 127:2

Today’s Reflection: I believe in God not because my parents told me to, not because the Church told me to, but because I’ve experienced His Goodness and Mercy for myself. Amen — Author unknown.
