Today’s Reflection:Teach me to disobey to obey You
Lord, teach me to disobey the authorities that work against your love, truth, and peace, that ask me to hate, to lie, to reject, and destroy others.
Lord, teach me to disobey the forces that work against the unity of your Body, that ask me to fear and isolate from others, that invite me not to care for the injustices and needs of others.
Lord, teach me to disobey the influencers that work against your loving plan for me, that want me to believe I’m irrelevant, unlovable, and unredeemable, that want me to step aside, And to obey you by seeing thru your eyes Lord! “The one who comes from above [and] is above all” Amen. —Sindy Collazo

Today’s Reflection: Lord, sharpen my vision that I may grow in appreciation for your gift of life. May I respond fully to all that it offers as well as to all that it demands. — from Focus Your Day

Today’s Reflection:Note – One of favourites, which explains why it repeats every now and then – My Lord God…I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end. Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so. But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you. Therefore I will trust you always, though I may seem lost and in the shadow of death. I will not fear, for you are ever with me, And you will never leave me to face my perils alone. —Thomas Merton

Today’s Reflection: Live one day at a time. Take advantage of the moments and the dawns. Discover in each moment, in landscapes, in music and in all manifestations of beauty, the depth of your true interior solitude. — Bodmin Hermit, a Franciscan hermit living in Cornwall, England
