Today’s Reflection: Jesus, who tells stories of hope
that invite and challenge us.
Give us the grace to bid farewell to fear.
Forgive us for expecting what we think we deserve
while failing to receive the abundance you give.
Seed falls in unexpected places so teach us to find you
in places we think you are not supposed to go.
Help us, dear friend, to love
To love
To love
As we have been loved. Amen. — Carol Ackel

Today’s Reflection: Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things are passing away:
God never changes.
Patience obtains all things
Whoever has God lacks nothing;
God alone suffices.—St. Teresa of Avila

Today’s Reflection: Thank you, Lord Jesus, for never giving up, for walking alongside us until our eyes are at last opened to see you in the midst of our daily life and concerns. Open my eyes to see you in discouraging and desolate situations. May your presence continue to surprise me along the road. Amen. — Sr. Jessica Kerber

Today’s Reflection: What you hold may you always hold.
What you do, may you always do and never abandon.
But with swift pace, light step and unswerving feet,
so that even your steps stir up no dust,
Go forward, the spirit of our God has called you. —St. Clare of Assisi

Today’s Reflection: Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.  — Peace Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi

Today’s Reflection: Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do. — Pope John XXIII

Today’s Reflection: A Prayer for Compassion

Oh God, I wish from now on
to be the first to become conscious
of all that the world loves, pursues, and suffers;

I want to be the first to seek,
to sympathize and to suffer;
the first to unfold and sacrifice myself,

to become more widely human
and more nobly of the earth
than of any of the world’s servants. — Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, S.J. (1881–1955)
