Morning Offering: 12. 18. 21

Today’s Reflection: Dear God, our world is hurting and broken. We pray for those who have lost loved ones, those who have lost homes, for those whose world has been shaken. We pray for gifts of understanding and compassion. Help us all to choose compassion over strife, in small ways and in large ways. Help us to intentionally cultivate peacekeeping hearts. Amen. — Kristine Mackey.

Today’s Reflection: Love this!: People say, what is the sense of our small effort? They cannot see that we must lay one brick at a time, take one step at a time. A pebble cast into a pond causes ripples that spread in all directions. Each one of our thoughts, words and deeds is like that. No one has a right to sit down and feel hopeless. There is too much work to do. — Dorothy Day (1897-1980. Co-founder of the Catholic Worker, social justice apostle/activist.)
