Today’s Reflection:  We pray to you, O Lord,
For the lepers of our world today,
The untouched, the unloved, the rejected, scorned, and forgotten
For their needs and desires… and for hope
Be with them in a special way
Help give us the Compassion of Jesus to be welcoming, inclusive, attentive and loving to all those who cross our paths
To treat everyone we encounter with dignity and respect as You did.  Amen — Carl Caceres, SJ

Today’s Reflection:  The most life-giving elements of our human existence are not the heart transplants or moon shots. They are the unnoticed conversations with the lonely ones; the listening ear we offer to the hurting ones; the word of affirmation that lifts a veil of fear.— Margaret Silf

Today’s Reflection: Lord,
I hear you inviting me to go all in,
but at the same time,
I feel my fist clenching tighter around
my last two precious coins.
I want to serve you,
and at the same time
I fear what giving you all of me might mean.
Grant me the grace to feel your magnanimous love
flow unfettered through my limbs
bringing them new energy, life, and purpose
so I may release the tightness of my grip
and finally go all in.
Amen — Gretchen Crowder

Today’s Reflection: The poverty of the poor is not a call to generous relief action, but a demand that we go and build a different social order. — Gustavo Gutiérrez

Today’s Reflection: People say, what is the sense of our small effort? They cannot see that we must lay one brick at a time, take one step at a time. A pebble cast into a pond causes ripples that spread in all directions. Each one of our thoughts, words and deeds is like that. No one has a right to sit down and feel hopeless. There is too much work to do. — Dorothy Day, co-founder, The Catholic Worker
