Morning Offering: 04. 22. 25

Today’s Reflection: Jesus, as this new day begins, help us carry the joy of Easter into all we do. Let the hope of Your resurrection guide our steps, fill our hearts with peace and inspire us to share Your light with others. May we walk in faith, love boldly, and live with grateful hearts. — Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration

Today’s Reflection: Lord, thank you for the simple joy of a  walk – for the rhythm of my steps, the breeze on my face and the quiet moments to breathe and reflect. Open my eyes to the wonders around me and my heart to the peace that comes with each step in your direction. — Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.

Today’s  Reflection: Never Give Up

No matter what is going on, never give up.
Develop the heart. Too much energy in your country is spent developing the mind instead of the heart.
Be compassionate, not just to your friends, but to everyone.
Work for peace in your heart and in the world. Work for peace and I say again, never give up.
No matter what is happening, no matter what is going on around you, never give up  — Attributed to His Holiness, the XIV Dalai Lama

Today’s Reflection: Morning Prayer

Lord, as the first light of dawn paints the sky, I open my heart to you. May this day be a canvas for your grace, and may my actions be a reflection of your love. You have saved your creation. In mercy, grant us a day of peace and bestow forgiveness for our sins. — Bodmin Hermit

Today’s Reflection: Prayer for Peace and Calm

Dear Lord and Father of humankind,
Forgive our foolish ways;
Reclothe us in our rightful mind,
In purer lives Thy service find,
In deeper reverence, praise.

Drop Thy still dews of quietness,
Till all our strivings cease;
Take from our souls the strain and stress,
And let our ordered lives confess
The beauty of Thy peace.

Breathe through the heats of our desire
Thy coolness and Thy balm;
Let sense be dumb, let flesh retire;
Speak through the earthquake, wind, and fire,
O still, small voice of calm. — John Greenleaf Whittie

Today’s Reflection: Morning Prayer

In a world which often lauds

power rather than peace,

and greed rather than generosity,

you call us, Lord, to stand

not with oppressors and bullies,

but with those who face injustice.

Strengthen our resolve,

as people of your kingdom,

to pursue the peace you offer.— Bill Braviner, Anglican Archdeacon of Halifax (UK)
