Loving God, please grant me peace of mind and calm my troubled heart. My soul is like a turbulent sea. I can’t seem to find my balance so I stumble and worry constantly. Give me the strength and clarity of mind to find my purpose and walk the path you’ve laid out for me. I trust your Love God, and know that you will heal this stress. Just as the sun rises each day against the dark of night. Please bring me clarity with the light of God. In your name I pray. — Author Unknown

Today’s Reflection: It is not you who shapes God; it is God who shapes you. If then you are the handiwork of God await the hand of the Artist who does all things in due season.
Offer the pottery of your heart, soft and tractable, and keep well the form in which the Artist has fashioned you. Let your clay be moist, lest you grow hard and lose the imprint of the Potter’s fingers. —St. Irenaeus, in For You, O God: Prayers and Reflections

Today’s Reflection: When we leave from Mass, we should leave in the same way that Moses descended from Sinai, with his face shining and his heart emboldened to face the world’s difficulties. — St. Oscar Romero (Corpus Christi, 1979)

No matter what is going on, never give up. Develop the heart. Too much energy in your country is spent developing the mind instead of the heart. Be compassionate, not just to your friends, but to everyone. Work for peace in your heart and in the world. Work for peace and I say again, never give up. No matter what is happening, no matter what is going on around you, never give up — Attributed to His Holiness, the XIV Dalai Lama
