Morning Offering: 02. 27. 22

Today’s Reflection: Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi (Prayer for Peace)
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Today’s Reflection: We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. — St. Mother Teresa of Kolkata.

Today’s Reflection: Heavenly Father,
Your will for your people is peace, not war.
Pour out on our world, especially in Eastern Europe, your Spirit of compassion and solidarity.
Grant all those who believe in you the strength to be close to those who suffer and the courage to resolve their differences and conflicts in truth and without resort to arms.
Be with the widow, the orphan, the refugee and the peacemaker.
Bind us all into the peace of your Kingdom.
Through Christ our Lord,
Amen. — Father Damian Howard SJ,
Provincial for the Jesuits in Britain.

Today’s Reflection: Jesus, I am grateful to be walking next to you. I don’t see very well when I depend on myself alone. Please help me see through your eyes. Help me know how to respond to the people on our path. Please, give me your grace to reach out to them as you would. Amen. — Mary Ann Gessner.

Today’s Reflection: Lord, what am I when compared to this flower? What are you in giving this flower to me? How can I live my life to notice these simple gifts? The simple beauty of the flower stirs my need to know you better. I pray today, God, not to pretend to know you but to wait patiently as you reveal yourself to me over time. — from The Sacred Garden.

Today’s Reflection: Lord, give me your grace. On my own, I am, too, frail of faith to take the leap. It will take time. You wait. Hold my hand. I’ll get there. — Kathleen Sullivan.
