Today’s Reflection: Morning Prayer
Lord, as the first light of dawn paints the sky, I open my heart to you. May this day be a canvas for your grace, and may my actions be a reflection of your love. You have saved your creation. In mercy, grant us a day of peace and bestow forgiveness for our sins. — Bodmin Hermit

Today’s Reflection: Morning Prayer
Inspire us Lord,
as your people,
to devote our energies
to both the mission
of your message,
and the mission
of social action
to benefit all.
May your love soar
on these two
wings of mission,
that all may be nourished
in heart and soul,
knowing the peace
you bring. — Bill Braviner, Anglican Archdeacon of Halifax, U.K.

Today’s Reflection: Morning Prayer – Spring
Lord of the Morning, thank you for Spring and the beginning of warmer, longer, brighter days. Thank you for the coming of growth, life and birth. Thank you that things are coming awake in the world. This is what our calendar says, and we see the signs. — Bodmin Hermit

Today’s Reflection: Prayer
God,
complaining is completely underrated. How else can I be honest?
Every frustration has me spinning. And the sheer volume
and timing of each new problem
has me convinced this is a conspiracy. Are they trying to ruin this for me?
I’m trying.
I’m honestly trying here.
God, come meet me here.
Chip away at my chippiness.
Calm my racing heart.
Loosen this feeling in my chest.
Blessed are we when we notice
that the day is trending in the wrong direction.
No matter how hard we try,
the answers are not coming, and even the questions
have all trailed away.
Blessed are we when we recognize that it’s time to just stop,
find a moment alone,
And breathe.
Blessed are we,
who notice something emerging, a memory of truth revealed,
of mercy received,
a comfort, a word.
And how grateful are we
who take the first step,
and find it has its own springs. —“A Blessing for When You’re Feeling Grouchy” by Kate Bowler

Today’s Reflection: An Irish Blessing
May you always have….
A sunbeam to warm you,
Good luck to charm you,
And a sheltering angel so nothing can harm you…
Laughter to cheer you,
Faithful friends near you,
And whenever you pray,
Heaven to hear you. — Author unknown
