Morning Offering: 12. 14. 25 Third Advent

Today’s Reflection: The Light of Candles

Come Lord of us all,
stir up the darkness.
We light just one candle
to keep us awake.

Come Lord of nature,
wise and just ruler.
The light of two candles
shows us how to live.

Come Lord of our life.
Deserts are greening.
The light of three candles
show that you are near.

Come Son of David,
he who was promised.
By four candles’ brightness
the true king will come.  —Sue Allerton/CAFOD

Today’s Reflection: If you see someone falling behind, walk beside them. If you see someone being ignored, find a way to include them. Always remind people of their worth. One small act could mean the world to them. — Unknown

Today’s Reflection: Christmas gift suggestions: To your enemy, forgiveness. To an opponent, tolerance. To a friend, your heart. To a customer, service. To all, charity. To every child, a good example. To yourself, respect. — Oren Arnold

Today’s Reflection: Lord, let your words not simply wash over me but move me to action. Help me to see with compassionate eyes, aid with healing hands, and teach with the truth of your salvation. —Laura Asplund

Today’s Reflection: Dear Heavenly Father, this Advent season, we especially are in need of peace. War rages on in our world. It impacts the daily lives of millions in different ways. This year, as much as ever, we need Jesus, Prince of Peace, in our world and in our hearts. During Advent in 2025, we pray that Jesus transforms our world as we await His coming again.— Catholic prayer site

Today’s Reflection: Dear God, when I feel stuck because I can only see what’s in front of me, open my vision to a wider view. Lift my head to gaze at heaven instead of fixing my eyes on earth. Help me to look to the saints as examples of their faith in you and your will for me. Amen. —Laura Asplund

Morning Offering: 12. 08. 25

Today’s Reflection: Lord,
In the deepest recesses of my heart,
I know Your voice.
Yours is the voice that tells me:
“I love you, as you are, no matter what.”
Yours is the voice that tells me:
“You have all you need to set this world on fire.”
Yours is the voice that tells me:
“I’ve got you.”

Yet even knowing Your voice as I do,
I still get tricked
by the voice inside that asks me:
“Does he really love every part of you?”
by the voice inside that asks me:
“Are you really enough to make a difference?”
by the voice inside that asks me:
“Are you really sure he has you?”

I need your help, Lord,
to sift out Your voice from the rest,
to trust what I know to be true,
to silence what I know is not,
and to take a leap of faith. —Gretchen Crowder

Morning Offering: 12. 07. 25 Second Advent

Today’s Reflection:

Lord Jesus,

Master of both the light and the darkness, send your Holy Spirit upon our preparations for Christmas.

We who have so much to do and seek quiet spaces to hear your voice each day,

We who are anxious over many things look forward to your coming among us.

We who are blessed in so many ways long for the complete joy of your kingdom.

We whose hearts are heavy seek the joy of your presence.

We are your people, walking in darkness, yet seeking the light.

To you we say, “Come Lord Jesus!’

Amen. — Henri J.M. Nouwen
