Morning Offering: 07. 21. 25

Today’s Reflection: Our Father, In the quiet of our hearts, guide us to embrace simplicity in our daily lives.

Help us to find joy in the little things, to let go of distractions, and to cherish the present moment.

May we seek contentment in what we have and share our blessings with others. Lead us to a life of peace and gratitude.

Amen. — Jesuit prayer site

Today’s Reflection: Christian spirituality proposes a growth marked by moderation and the capacity to be happy with little. It is a return to that simplicity which allows us to stop and appreciate the small things, to be grateful for the opportunities which life affords us, to be spiritually detached from what we possess, and not to succumb to sadness for what we lack — Pope Francis, Laudato Si’, 222.

Today’s Reflection: Simplicity resembles that beautiful flower called the sunflower, which follows all the movements of the sun and ever turns towards it. Those who possess the beautiful virtue of simplicity are always turned towards God alone. — St. Julie Billiart, founder of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.
