Today’s Reflection: Those experiencing homelessness face extreme vulnerability during heat emergencies, often with limited access to shelter, water, or medical care. This prayer seeks God’s special protection for our most exposed neighbors.:

Lord, You know every person sleeping rough tonight in this crushing heat. You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress (Isaiah 25:4,NIV). Lead them to cooling centres and sources of cold water. Send advocates and caregivers to check on them. Provide the resources and housing they need.
